Changeover day is normally Friday, although this can be flexible in low season. The maid (Paula) will call once midweek on a Tuesday and speaks excellent English. Bed linen and towels are changed weekly.
Payment
Payment to us will be made preferably by bank transfers. An initial 20% booking deposit with the booking form please. The balance is due 6 weeks before the rental starts. Cheques also acceptable. As we are a very small organisation we do not have the facilities for credit cards.
Getting to and into the villa
After receiving the balance about 6 weeks before the rental period starts, we’ll send you further information on how to find the villa. There will be a small key safe by the front door and you will be given the code to open this to get the keys. These should be left in the key safe on your departure, please.
Travel cot
Pool heating and the pool man
Pool heating, if required, is £175 a week extra. The pool needs regular looking after by the pool man. We rarely see him as he calls early and has his own key to the pool area so you will not be disturbed.
The gardener
Similarly the garden needs looking after. The gardener will not need access to the villa, pool or patio area so you will not be disturbed.
Arriving and leaving
On the day of your arrival please do not arrive before 2pm as Paula will be getting the place ready for you. On the day you depart please vacate the villa by 10am so Paula can get on with getting the villa ready for the next guests. PLEASE remember to leave the safe key in the safe when you leave.
Luggage storage
If you have a late flight it is possible for your luggage to be stored in the town centre. Please ask us for details.
Passports
The law requires our agent to inform the local authorities of our guests’ details. You will be asked to supply them before the rental starts.
Our agent
Elite Rentals look after the villa, guests and staff. There will be a folder with their details on the table in the lounge.
